What do you think of what Penn has to say about being given a Bible?

Interesting... coming from a guy who in the past has not been all to kind to people sharing faith or a christian perspective. I have listen to interviews with Penn in the past and I believe like the video that he is open to the discussion and conversation with people who like the person he described are authentic and live their faith. assuming the description of the person he was talking to.

I think most people are open to conversations about faith as long as there is not a mightier than thou and judgemental attitude on our part. Way to go for the guy who really was the face of Jesus to Penn.

I think he is spot on, and if understood in the context, was open to someone's passion, not judgment. Usually people who claim to be people of faith think that those who do not agree or "are in the wrong" are unapproachable. Good, solid, constructive conversation with people of all thought processes are out there if we take the risk and guard against the biggest complaint about people of faith, that they are judgmental and self righteous. Thanks for commenting.

He says that if you believe something so great, then you should want to share it. By sharing it, you are showing the recipient you care. Yet, he tries to say that the message isn't true. I think he brings one of the biggest issues with public education. I fully support public eduation, yet, I know that I felt I couldn't talk about my faith in a public school.
